Stoiq (pronounced "stoic") is a people data and team feedback platform purpose-built for the hospitality industry. It was founded by Jamie Campbell, who spent 15 years in hospitality data and people-technology businesses including CGA, Peach 20/20 and CPL Learning. Stoiq was created to close a gap the sector has lived with for years: people data has long been treated as a second-class citizen, with team-level feedback either bolted onto generic HR or learning systems, confined to one-off benchmarking exercises tied to industry awards, or handled by tools with no real hospitality specialism.
Stoiq's approach is different. Rather than a once-a-year survey, it is built for year-round, action-driven feedback: engagement surveys, D&I surveys, and both tactical and strategic pulses that can target a specific team, on a specific challenge, at a specific time. Surveys are template-driven and can be live in under a minute, delivered through the channels teams already use day to day.
Anonymity and confidentiality sit at the core of the product, because trust is what turns feedback from a compliance exercise into something genuinely useful. Results are shared back to teams in engaging, visual formats, in the spirit of a Spotify Wrapped rather than a static report, closing the loop and creating a virtuous circle: as trust builds, the quality of the data improves too. Hospitality benchmarking is built directly into the platform, giving operators context that generic, sector-agnostic tools can't offer, and the underlying analysis is AI-supported, helping surface key actions, attitudinal trends and areas of risk directly from the data teams provide.
Stoiq positions itself alongside, rather than instead of, external accreditation schemes and industry awards, acting as the operational, always-on layer that sits underneath the annual snapshot those programmes provide.
